Stone Dental Lab

Website Redesign

A redesign of Kinston’s Stone Laboratories website. The client desired a website that was more mature and outlined clearly what their business did as it was getting muddled with confusion in the past. Our goal was to clearly outline what they did and how it was beneficial to it’s audience it was marketing to.

Project Process

Research & Strategy

Research involved getting familiar all of Stone’s products. Since this site was targeted for the well informed dentist looking for an offsite lab. The goal was to include the language the audience would be familiar with and offer that Stone can show authority in the market.

Wireframing & Branding

In this phase, I created a more mature palette based on the older existing color palette. I chose muted tones of blue-green and a gold accent. This is to reflect a more mature site while still not being too different that returning client would be lost.

Content Assembly

For content assembly, I created a repeating pattern that is featured on the home page web slides along with the inner page headers. This was inspired by the Stone tooth logo I focused on the circle on how it could be used multiple ways.

Using WordPress we were able to create a user-friendly experience that the client was comfortable using and could update on their own. A client portal was placed for a secure connection to Stone’s software for dentist to send patient information.
